I read some seriously amazing books this month.
The first was Playing Big by Tara Mohr and this book really made me take a look at how safe I've been living my life. My favorite was the guided meditation to find your inner mentor. My inner mentor kicks ass and is living in a beautiful cottage in the South of France. I need to visit with her more often. I loved this book so much that I'm reading it again with the Being Boss group.
My Amazon wish list is a mish mash of design books, Literature, business books, self-help books and Hark! A Vagrant by Kate Beaton. This book cracked me up. I think if you were ever a History or English major that you have to read this book. It's also a great comic book for people who aren't sure they'd like to read a comic book.
I've always been a big fan of Heather Ross's fabric for years. I finally read her book How to Catch a Frog and other stories of family, love, dysfunction, survival, and DIY. She has a beautiful voice and manages to capture the magic of childhood while at the same time telling her story of survival.
I almost don't want to recommend this book because then you would have no need to hire me! Domino: The Book of Decorating is a really great primer on interior design. It gives great tips on how to set up a room, find furniture and accessories, wall finishes, etc.
Finally I also read Emily Henderson's Styled, which I also highly recommend. Once you get all the basics down bring in Emily's eye to help you with the finishing touches. She is definitely the queen bey of styling.
Have you read any great books recently that I need to add to my list??
